Who has a pacesetter CATBACK sys on their 4th gen?

I made the mistake of buying one. The Pacesetter does suck. It seemed like it made the car slower. The car seemed to hesitate a little when I mashed the pedal at lower RPMs. I've replaced it with a custom catback exhaust (with a straight-through muffler) when I got the Y-pipe, and the car accelerates very quick now.

Pacesetter in my mind SUCKS! I had it on my 90 Eclipse, rotted away after 6 months. Had it on my 92 Maxima, the muffler fell off!! It actually diconnected from the piping. WTF? Spend your money right the first time, get stainless steel if possible, not aluminzed steel.

I have the G-reddy, and I like it very much. It is of high quality and will likely outlast the rest of the car! Any and all bends are perfectly smooth, and it fits the bumber cut-out just right. It does drone a little at about 3k RPM at highway speeds, but sounds much better then most fart cans I hear.(fart cans would drive me crazy on anything longer then a 15 minute trip)
At WOT, sounds very grunty and sport car like. When on the highway, keeping it slightly bellow or above 3000 RPM, produces hardly any noise at all. Gains were noticable with this unit alone, and I could churp the tires only haveing this one speed mod. Backing it up with the stainless cattman y-pipe made great results. Will have the CAI added and tested this weekend. The 3 should provide a nice combo for HP gains. To complete this system, I will get a RT highflow cat, then move onto the handling of the car, before going back to the engine. I hope to get the intake runners and heads extrude honed and a 3 angle valve job when I can afford not to dive the car for a few weeks. Likely in the spring when my z..sorry...28 is done.

I guess when the different route...
heheh...I took care of some handling before power mods...
I think I am gonna get the Y pipe after the ECU...
or maybe a catback...
we'll see which one ,knock on wood, rust out first...
