Gas shortage!
I hate posting on or in Gas threads cause it's stupid, and 
because it will always rise and get alot worst before it gets better. If no one has realized that, then you must never drive.
I would have posted this in Off Topic, but I know some of you are not donating members and do not have access.
I got this email from a friend regarding the shortage. Take it for what it's worth and I'll
as I drive by. I know this says Carolinas, but check your local sources to see if this effects you also.

The city has made aware all police, fire and such that this is a good possibility. They told everyone to fill up their tanks as soon as they can because of the predicted shortage.

The problem going forward will be a shortage of oil refining capacity as a number of oil refineries are shut down. Gas shortages are a real possibility, but not so soon. Higher gas prices is a given.

Here's an idea..DON'T DRIVE. The price of gas will only lower slightly, stabilize, and continue to rise. THE DAYS OF CHEAP GAS ARE OVER...GET USED TO IT.

Now, think about it Einstein. The three BIGGEST consumers of gasoline as listed about are not slowing down in their consumption rate...PERIOD. Gas prices will continue to rise. It will only level out for awhile, but don't expect to pay $2.00 for a gallon ever again in this lifetime. Expect it to hit $5.00 per gallon in 2 years. DEAL WITH IT. Next time you are about to b!tch about the price of gasoline, try cracking open a newspaper and look over the economics and industial sections.
