Locked keys in car

So yeah... I've locked my keys in my car. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any handy ways to open the door?? I can't seem to get through the windows to unlock the door and I don't know how else I can do it. Anyone know of any good possibilities without having to call the locksmith?

Thanks

No spare key? Doubt you'll find many how-to's on how to break into a Maxima.

What happened to your second keyless remote?

Yeah, I was kinda hoping no one would be able to tell me how to get in, because, then what's stopping anyone else from getting into my car?

So what happened to my spare key? Well I bought the car in about January of '05 from a guy that took pretty good care of the thing...unfortunately, he only had one set of keys...and theres no keyless entry (else I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem because I never had this problem with my old maxima that had keyless).

The other ironic thing is that I was just telling myself I need to get the key copied soon....and before I have a chance I lock it in the car!

Call a local locksmith...He will open it for you for $25-$50....Beats breaking the window or you damaging the locking mechanism yourself....

I was going to try to open it myself but like you said, it's probably better to call the locksmith than to end up breaking the locking mechanism. Since I'm away at school though, I'm in Pullman Washington and there's only like 1 locksmith in town so I'll just have to call him up. I've heard it's like $40-60 around here. Oh well...lesson learned.

Thanks for all your help.

Sorry to say... but I was able to break into the max with a coat hanger. I won't say exactly how I did it, although many of you might already know, or if you sit and think for a few minutes you might figure it out like I did... but anyway, as long as you have an alarm I dont think you have to worry about people breaking into your car the way I did.

I locked my keys in the trunk once when getting stuff out I just put them on the floor

My mate had my car open in about 20mins.. pretty scarey really.. .now he could probably do it in 2mins

I don't know how a coat hanger would work though

PM me and I'll tell you how
