my boss has a '00 M coupe stock with sp8000 tires. He ran a 14.58 and 14.67 quarter time last night. My question is, can I beat that? Even though I've never raced before I think I can. What do you think?

It all depends on the driver, I have seen time slip of 13.67 for stock M coupe, that I don't think you can beat. But if your boss again runs another mid 14's, then of course you can beat it. That's the thing about manual cars, it's not easy to get consistent fast times.

Btw, personally I would not recommand to beat your boss'*** on a race track, might not be healthy for your career
