Will these work?

I was wondering if one was to do a retrofit, will TURNING XENON PROJECTORS that came off of a 2005 Lexus RX330 work? This is the new technology that turns at curves. Can we actually make it turn on a maxima? If so how easy or difficult is it? Also what size projectors fit best in our stock housing?

I would be curious how easy or hard this would be to set up, but at the same time, I believe that it is pretty owrthless. just a gimmick, I think.

for what maxima?

a few guys on the 5th gen board have done these, with mixed results. a ton of accord guys from V6P have done retrofits, and they love them. you could even talk to a member here, lowincash, he had several HID retrofits in his accord. its getting easier as people get more innovative, but what maxima are you tryin to put these in, thats the first question?

and i seriously doubt they will turn in a maxima. they have to be linked electronically to the steering wheel or something in the ECU, i cant imaine the projector has its own gyroscope in it. it would be easier to do a regular HID projector fit, not this one.

most people seem to use projectors from the luxury cars, Acura, M-B, Audi, etc. but i dont have any experience with making those choices. contact the member i said, he has a lot more experience with it than i do, i think.

check out HIDtech.com. you will need projector lenses, obviously, plus ballasts, bulbs and harnesses. HIDtech.com has kits for this.

Talk to Dr. Roy as well, he's one of the best at projector retrofits around here:
