Installed Konis and H&Rs
#1
Well I finally had a chance to install the Konis and H&Rs on Memorial Day. With my friend, it took us about 4 hours but the end result is worth it. I didn't really like the idea of having to destroy a perfectly good front shock to act as the seat for the Koni Fronts, but didn't have much of a choice. The fronts took about 3 hours and the rears took 1 hour to do. Basically on the fronts, we had to drill a hole in the bottom of the stock shock and then cut the top part off so we could pull out the piston. Then we cleaned out the shock and put the Koni in. Threw the spring on there and put the assembly back in the car. The back was simple, just took a while to untorque and retorque everything down. So far I love the ride, feels just like stock. I have the Konis set on soft right now but I may play around with them this weekend and see what they feel like on medium and firm. I am going to be getting pictures of the car after getting all waxed up at our club meeting this weekend, so I'll probably have some real pictures to show for once.
