Russ might have one. I recently saw a clip of them starting up a SC'd max that they just installed.

It's cool Cheston's clips are working now, video clips would be cool though.

Kinda OT...

I just went down to STILLEN last Friday and they said that their SC kit isn't ready for sale yet?

Anyone know what's up with this? Are they redoing their kit (maybe an Aluminum pulley to replace the plastic one?)

I've never heard a supercharged Max, but I've heard supercharged all sorts of other ****, and I'll tell you this: it ain't know V12 sound!

You want a rich, resonant sound, get a K&N filter and an exhaust kit. Your whispering alto Maxima will turn into a deep, tenor SuperMax.

Superchargers create a weird kind of resistance on the drivetrain, and as a result they add a whiny noise to your engine.

If the SC'd Maxima is anything like other supercharged vehicles, expect it to sound like a rice burner on steroids.

Hehe, you weren't wrong when ya said it sounds like a dentists drill, hrmm, I got to have one, I've almost got the mrs convinced that this is a necessary piece of equipment, and no trading for something more powerful stock wouldn't be a better idea, a lil more persuasion and i should have one by Xmas.

is the loud grinding sound it makes good?

The one I heard in LYT97SC's video when the SC was revved up high? It's just not too good of a sound. How loud can you hear the SC in your car when driving?

I believe the actual blower on LYT97SC’s car is the Vortech V-1 with straight cut spur gears, but the Stillen kit now uses the Vortech V-2 SQ (Super Quiet) blower which has helical cut gears and is much quieter.

Well the sounds to me is more of a nest of crickets. With the hood down and from the outside, it is hard to notice unless you know what to listen for, from the inside of the car you can hear it a bit more, but with the music up a bit its not noticable.
