is $25 a fair price for shipping a CAI ??

I'm in a group deal for one right now and the deal is 20% off so the CAI is $160... then the shipping fee is $25... does this sound fair or high?

What type of shipping are you receiving?

Seems steep. I didn't pay for mine (gotta love christmas gifts!), but I can't imagine that it costs more than $8-$10 to ship ground.

Yeah, I got charged 15 bucks for my y-pipe, so I imagine 25 for a CAI is a little bit steep. Find out why.

if it same day air, then the price is reasonable, but if its ground, then your getting ripped off

Don't rims cost like 25 each to ship. Something doesn't sound right.

they must be doing that to make up for the % off that they are giving you... find out how much i weighs and go to ups.com and see how much shipping would cost

If the group buy is going through someone other than the dealer, the CAI may have to go the the seller before it comes to you. Just an idea.

Then this must be another Jordon and another CAI deal.. because this is what the email said.. and this is what he posted

Err... Place Racing just sent me their price sheet (in response to the 93 altimas), and this time they told me that the list on the Maxima CAIs are $225, and not $200. This means that if you want to order a maxima CAI you will have to add an additional $20. Sorry for the inconvinience, but I am just doing what PR tells me. If you have a Max and you dont want to spend the extra $20, and need to pull out of the deal, let me know and I will understand.

Here is a summary of the ACTUAL Maxima CAIprices:

red,yellow, blue, black - $225 (less 20%)
two stage silver - $230 (less 20%)

-Jordan

I have also sent emails saying this to everyone.
