I put the K&N air filter on my car, and it occured to me I have no idea how to clean it.

I live in a highly pollenated area (suburbs), and then I commute into a highly polluted area (Boston) through underground / submerged tunnels. So air filters get clogged quick.

Sage advice? Guidance?
