Sorry so many bad things are happening to your car! I would avoid spending any more money on mods if I were you and invest in a good alarm. Just be thankful you have any car at all...especially a Maxima! You could be stuck taking public transit or driving some old rustbucket thats older than you. Don't be concerned about whether people respect you for your car...be more concerned about how they respect you as a person.
Definitely makes me glad I live in the middle of nowhere. I never hear about stuff like that happening to cars up here.

move to a safer area or stop modding the car so much externally. New Yorkers should honestly only make performance cars. The haters around are so abundant, u cant do anything without getting pissed off a few days later. I know how u feel, my car was in an accident and its never going to be the same but u just gotta remember its only a car. Learn from your mistakes and if u still have the mod bug, try to focus on the mods that dont really show. Suspension, performance, interior. Outside mods are for people that want to be seen and recognized. If you are ready to take on the haters then keep it going, otherwise...revise your game plan.
