want to know of the progress with regards to the UPRD ecu upgrade?! any news for a 99 SE 4th gen yet?

both are web resources to salvage yards / junk yards. perhaps someone can pick up a 99 ECU and do some test?!

or do you want me to do it?! will there be any reduction in price if I were to do it ...ie..buy from a wrecked 99 SE its ECU and send it to UPRD?

yeah. we're working on the ecu issues..

as for the 99 cali/fed-spec ecus, the outlook is grim.

UPRD said that due to the complexities of the 99s, the ecu upgrade will most likely NOT work.

BUT have faith. Tony (1MAX2NV) is working with Authority Systems to get ecus for the 99s.


i'm on a quest this weekend to get ECUs from a local junkyard, and will be putting in Nabil's ecu into my car over the weekend.. so keep all fingers crossed.
