To remove wax use a degreaser soap. I.e dawn dish wash. I think there are even car wash soaps specifically formulated to remove wax. Or if you want to be hard core then use Clay Magic.

If you have good quality tint on your car..ie 3M.....windex won't hurt it. I've had mine tinted for over a year and clean the inside with windex...i see no purple...

Hahahaha I don't know if "Nickle" can even read his Wax bottle, are we sure he even washed his car first, and what type of wax did you use because in the case that you did apply it correctly i don't want to buy the spontaneous freezing car wax, and are you sure its wax not polish? Thanks for the laugh Man.

what about just plain old wax remover? i think they sell it at pep boyz or autozone... look it up! i had wax get stuck before and leave darker spots on my black paint, but enough rubbing blended it in.

Waxing by hand takes some effort guys, thats why you get the top of the line wax like the Next Generation from Meguires, nice stuff, rubs off easily, really brings out color

Or pay a shop to take care of that, and relax that arm. Even if you use an orbital polisher.. you still need to hand apply the wax and finish wax..

Any glass cleaner that is ammonia free should be safe for your tinted windows...i believe eagle one has one that i used for about two years and never had any problems

Stick with the warm water and dish soap for the "frozen wax."

Exactly how long did you leave the wax on? You're not one of those "apply wax on Monday, drive around till Thursday, buff off wax" types are you? Just rewash the car (and dry), apply the same wax THINLY, let it haze, and buff it all off.

I'm also hoping you don't get water spots on the inside of your windows.... A slightly damp microfiber cloth cleans interior glass very well without cleaners, and doesn't leave streaks. It is also safe for tint, unless of course your local water contains ammonia.

For tinted windows I use Windex with vinegar instead of ammonia.
