Aluminum Dash Kit Group Deal
Hey everyone, I have an update on the aluminum dash kit. As I've mentioned earlier, I prototyped an aluminum dash kit for Perfect Image Creations. This is a real aluminum kit, cut from sheets of aluminum, not painted plastic like the JT kit is. We finally finalized a kit and it will be put in production soon. I am now a dealer for Perfect Image Creations and am working on a group deal. I'm not sure about prices, still working on that. There will be two choices of finish, brushed aluminum or satin. I'll have pics up later tonite, my kit is currently satin, but we'll be redoing it in brushed soon. Currently there are applications only for the 4th gen. I will be prototyping diamond plate floormats soon, as well as door sills and gauge surrounds. As soon as those are finished, I'll probably group deal those too. For pics of other applications, to see what they look like, go to http://www.perfectimagecreations.com Please email me with any questions at sales@ap-signworks.com or to let me know if you're interested. Thanks.

I thought about putting it in the group deals forum, but how many people go there? Besides, I figured it was a new product so it was news and I'd put it here. I don't know if JT has a real aluminum kit yet, I never heard anything about it after a while.
The fit on the kit isn't as bad as the picture shows. That's actually the third kit that's been fitted, the first one was based on my old JT kit which didn't fit very well and the next two were based on trial and error. The kit actually fits very well with no gaps. The rivets are on the top piece because currently in that configuration, it's the only way to hold the metal down over the bend. Production kits will have the top 2 pieces combined so there will be no rivets needed. Rivets will be shipped with the kit so they can be added if desired. My kit has rivets because it's a prototype. Now that everything has been figured out, rivets are no longer necessary, but I'm keeping them because I like them. I'm having one more kit fitted to the car, the final production kit and I'll have pictures up in several weeks when everything is ready to sell.
dash kit
JT has a real aluminum dash kit and it looks way better than the pictures of your dash kit. I hope the kit would look better and cheaper than the JT. Let me know when you got the final production pieces installed in your car. When will the door sills be available and what type of material and finish?

Does anyone have pics of the JT kit? I'd like to compare and see. And what's the price on the JT kit? I expect that I'll be able to beat JT's price. I'll have new and better pics up soon, I wasn't happy with the way those current ones turned out. I don't know about the new JT kits, but the fit on my kit is a whole lot better than the fit on my old JT kit. On that kit, I had gaps of up to 1/8". This kit has a lot less gaps, but it's more noticable in pics because the edges are flat. On the JT kit, the edges were rounded off and that blended it better. Like I said, the kit has been resized to eliminate gaps and I'll have new pics up as soon as everything is ready. The kit will not be sold until it fits perfectly. As for the door sills, they will be available around the same time as the dash kit. And they will be made of aluminum also, most likely in a brushed finish though other finish options are available.

I like... I like....
Will you sell door sills separately or altogether with the dash kit ?
I like the rivets in your dash kit but already installed JT kit a while back.

JT price is flexable. I think when it first came out, the price was right around $200? don't remember now.
