duhh . . . I should have realized that 13" rotors on 15" wheels. I'll go the milled down Z/Q/J calipers.
I will buy the brakets and rings because I will get new wheels later in the year and will get the Z calipers.
I'll be purchasing from you on friday.

alrighty I'm going to order Jeffs Brackets and rings (for Z calipers in the future).
Going with J30 calipers ($40), J30 brake pads ($60), J Rotors ($70), Milling down will call around to various shops tommorow.
Going to order parts end of this week.
Anyone have a link/write up on installing pads into a 2 piston caliper? I'm pretty sure its not really the same as on the max/1piston.
edit: good info for people to read up a little on the Z calipers.

Your the 2nd person to ask/buy just the hub rings. Why do you want just the hub ring?

That's key. I think I used the two existing ones to attached the caliper to the bracket. But make SURE, they DON'T protrude too far. Or else it will contact the rotor surface. Use washers to prevent this.
Then I bought new bolts/nuts/lock washers to attached the bracket to the torque arm assembly.

Basicly you take the two exsting bolts down to a hardware store, find 2 more in the same strength grade, size and thread. Then ask for 2 nuts that fit (in the same strength) and lockwashers. Technically, they don't have to be the same thread size but it's just makes for a cleaner install. I don't remember if the stock sized bolts are too long when they are used to attach the caliper to the bracket. But you can always just buy shorter versions or use a flat washer along with the lock washer.

I take it home depot wouldnt have the proper size bolt nor grade? I think the highest grade Home depot has is 8.
Did you invert your splash shield instead of cutting it off?
If the grade is on the head of the bolt it looks like that is a grade 5 bolt. What grade does nissan use? I thought I saw 7 on the bolt for the torque memeber.

I just got my J30s today and I didnt get a torque member. And they are not the same as the stock caliper torque member.

These bastards are heavy. Mine will definately need a few coats of paint before going on.
