just an idea!

I have seen serveral threads where people just laugh, or write negative comments to people posting stupid threads. This is not only a waste of bandwidth on the servers for the ORG, but also a waste of time for people actually looking for good information for knowledge purposes.

So I think the ORG should create an exam on Maxima knowledge. Then they can place everyone by their scores in a specific category and let them post on certain threads. Those that score low can join a novice thread where they can post stupid threads all day long. Those that actually enjoy learning and reading about the true works of mechancial knowledge can post in an Advanced threads sharing important and valuable information. Just an idea to stop the craziness around here! Lets get working on this ORG.

Good idea but placing them in certain threads based on there knowledge isn't right and will never happen.
Instead they should take a test and just be labled according to there knowledge as ie. There should be a posted grade level in according to the test, displayed grade under the profile name in the left hand box displayed at all times. So that way we know what kind of knowledge level that person is were talking to. If you fail you can't even post but you can read learn then take the test again.

10?'s On the Following subjects:
How to post?
How to Search?
How to read stickies?
Test on basic Car knowledge .
Basic Forum knowledge .
etc.

it's not going to work. In many cases knowledgeable people are the ones who start post whoring. Also, with this system, how would someone who doesn’t know a lot of technical info yet is supposed to ask questions.

Taking this test will encourage Newbies to read through the threads and learn how it all works before typing stuipid things.
If they fail they can take it again they will be signed in but just can't post yet. A grade will be displayed at all times . When you pass that's it you can't retake that grade will be there forever. 69D 81C 88B 92A 100A+

This thread should be in the feedback section, not in the general forums.
You've failed the "Where do I post" section of the test.
