Lowering springs (with Konis)

Okay, so I'm trying to decide what to ask for from my girlfriend, debating between a RSB, short shift kit, or springs. I'm leaning towards the springs.

I have Koni Adjustable struts, but they're old (60k miles on 'em). I would ideally want to get H&R springs, but I would feel bad asking for a $230 present. Then I saw the Maxspeeds.

I'd like to know everything that everyone has to say about Maxspeed springs. Do they ride well? Fit and finish? Can they compare to the H&Rs? Handling? Everything. Maybe even some pictures. =)

And will these Konis be able to handle a 1.4" drop?

Please, I need to know ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

Nathan

I put this in the General forum because I was asking about something not specific to the 4th gen...

Also, to reiterate, I was asking about the Maxspeeds and the Konis. I know H&R are awesome but they're too expensive for me right now. Are Maxspeeds of comparable quality to H&Rs? How do they ride, etc. Will my Konis blow out with the Maxspeeds or H&Rs?

Thanks again,
Nathan

H&R's ------- $200
Maxspeed --- $99

Just keep one thing in mind, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

You alreay have a great shock, so get yourself a really nice spring and enjoy the ride.

the ride with the maxpseeds is liek stock se springs, at least 00se's not to sure but 4th gens, theyre didnt lower it much at all. id say h&rs. the s-techs seem to be a more towards style than handleing, im assuming thats why theres s and h tech style and handleing. but i could be wrong on that.
