Clutch replacement decisions...need help!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EXEDY...21529695QQrdZ1

I would like your thoughts / comments on the above..
I am in the market for a new clutch and was going to the 5th gen clutch setup route and came across this on Ebay... Now I heard Exedy is a good clutch for the max (how true, dont know) but if in fact this clutch is for 86-01, would the ones that the stealership sell be the same exact thing no matter the year?!!!

Exedy makes 2 kinds of 'stage 1' clutches

a) oem replacement - I had troubles with the disc

I sent it back to Daikin, and got a similar one, but w/ a thicker PP, and more gritty disc.

This 1 seems like winner. I paid $250 for it.

looks like the stock replacement exedy clutch, not the stage 1 shown in the group deal. I think liqidvenom has this. I moved the car with it and the pedal feel is phenomenal. Extra soft compared to my clutch pedal (has issues) but it tends to slip and he has n/a bolt ons. He'll be the first to say he hates it but i atleast like the pedal feel. I'malso in market for a clutch but with the problems i hear i rather get stock than this. i would be in more debate with stock vs stage 1 exedy than this and stock.

that one is basically an OEM replacement, as has been said.

if you're just going to be cruising on the highway and basically stock, then this clutch is fine.
If you want somethign more, I recommend the stage I or the ACT street disc. both great clutches, but the Exedy is cheaper.

[internetautomart] Without whoring up the thread, I can get either ACT or Exedy for good prices.. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=407459 [/IAM]
