I Keep having dreams (just a rant)

I've noticed a lot lately that I have been having a lot of dreams about my car and a part for it. The other night I have a lovely dream I was holding some 4 piston brakes, and was about to put it on my car. Other times when I dream about my car and I'm driving I always have bad breake pressure and barely stop in time.

Last night, (in my dream) I was at some hotel, and I got into my car and wondered how the hell did I get a short throw shifter? I just started driving and it felt good, plus I had to have had a new clutch because it griped like God was helping out. My car was driving excellent with the new clutch and the short throw.

I'm loving these dreams. Just wanted to share.

Ive had similar dreams when I get a few performance parts put on the car. I wake up all excited and run out to my car to check the parts out but then I realize that it was just a dream

I have dreams where some psycho is at the wheel who won't slow down and we end up getting in a really bad accident. I think its because my Dad flipped out once while driving and slammed the brakes and almost swerved into the ditch. Or it could be the time I was in my friend's Neon and he was driving really fast while it was icy out...or the time I was in the car with this girl I went to highschool with and she mistook the gas pedal for the brake and we crashed...I have issues now.

Yeah it's weird that you can dream about what you think over when you're awake.

I had a dream that I was Michael Schumacher racing in the Formula 1 and I could feel the wind hitting my helmet, feel the steering wheel fighting back as I forced the car around a hairpin - heck, I could even hear the pit chief speaking German to me over the intercom...I don't even speak German!

Yeah it was I think...but you can't always remember dreams accurately and I sometimes wonder if I made up what I dreamt...who knows? OT sorry.

OT again but interesting: who else dreams about flying? Is it real flying or jkust trying to 'swim' in mid-air...? Sorry if you guys think this is a thread jack.

dreams are your unconscious wants and needs, sometime what u have longed for and sometimes things that dont make any sense. when you dream its usually about good things obvious. but nightmares and bad dreams are on a different wavelength of the sleep cycle. some fruedian thoughts for you guys

That Freud dude had some serious issues himself - "I want to f.u.c.k my mother and envy my father for doing that..." what a cheerio fruit loop.

Good point though Creative.

I usually dream about surfing or flying or diving off a real high cliff and then plunging into the ocean and swimming like a real fast dolphin.

I know.

I know.

I'm

What's weirder is I haven't even owned a car that long, nor had a driver's license that long

I know...I still remember a REALLY bad dream where I got shot and I was lying on the ground dying...what was really freaky was that it felt painful. Fortunately no dreams like that for a long time. I rarely remember my dreams at all. When I was taking Psychology in university the prof said if you want to remember your dreams just tell yourself to do so in your head every night before you go to sleep...that actually worked when I tried it!

Cool Ad Man.

But I wouldn't work well in NZ, you'd get laughed at by pretty much everyone, and too right! 206kW/276bhp at the crank and they can't crack 6.0s 0 - 100kph - just too heavy!

If you talk about Nissan performance in New Zealand they only whisper reverently or curse (depending on whether you like Nissan or not) or dismiss it because 'it's Japanese' one name: "GODZILLA".

Damn - when I went to watch the street races here in Auckland (I DIDN'T RACE IN THEM AND DON'T CONDONE RACING ON THE STREET!) there was a 1996 R33 GTR V-Spec Skyline running 600bhp @ Wheels and no one seemed all that fazed by it. ) OT sorry.

very true. I had the dream about the 4 piston calipers (they were the Z ones actually) after reading Matt's christmas sale.

The clutch and short throw dream just came out of now where, but I do need a new clutch, and was going to get a STS to go with it, and the 5th gen tranny I'd get also.
