my windshield wiper fluid light is still on

for some reason after I refilled the cars windshield wiper fluid the light continued to stay on. And is still on every time I turn the car on. Do you have any Idea what this could mean? PLease help.

I dont know what it means, but everytime my light comes on & then I fill it up, it stays on for about a week and a 1/2 as well...never figured out why though. It eventually goes away.

There's probably a float inside the bottle->

that turns off the light when the level is not low. Check to see that the level or float is not full of water. Also check the connector to see if it's well... connected! (or not dirty etc..)
