As long as the rotor isn't at it's minimum thickness, it can be resurfaced.
The min. thickness should be stamped on the hub area or an edge someplace.
Cost should be the same as a blank, about 8 bucks.

IF you remove the rotors and take them to somebody. If you just take them the car and say you want the rotors resurfaced, you'll get bent over to the tune of $75-100.

Call and check local area shops and make sure they have the equipment (and, more importantly, the experience) to resurface slotted rotors. Slotted rotors can be easily damaged if they are not careful.

And make sure you get new pads as well. Don't run the old pads with the newly-turned rotors.

I turned mine without a problem. Just do more cuts, but less deep than on a flat rotor

Yes good idea. I brush my slots with a wire brush every few weeks but that sounds like a good yearly maint idea.

Cleaning your slotted brakes with Dremel is a good idea but can be time consuming. I often go with an airhose and blow them brake dust away atleast once a week. No need to remove the brake rotors to get the back side.
