Problem Solved - Hard Start/No Start

Anyway...I recently had this problem where my car wouldn't start no matter what I did to try and coax it.

Thread

Well, I just now (an hour ago) fixed the problem.

I have a parts car sitting around which I'm using, for parts obviously. Eventually, come spring time, I'm going to strip it completely and make a thread here for the parts but as of now I'm using it to make my car run better, etc.

What I did to fix the problem was this...I changed the camshaft sensor from that car when it originally stopped starting, aswell as both crankshaft sensors. After many unsuccessfull starts...I changed back to the original camshaft sensor and started retracing my steps. Today, I decided to swap fuel pumps. It took like an hour to swap them, but I got it. I decided to do this because my fuel pressure was like 23 psi and it should be in the mid 40's according to the Haynes. After trying to start the car with the new pump, I had no luck. So I decided to put the newer camshaft sensor BACK in (the parts car has 70kmi (which is why I bought it - for the engine))...and tried starting. Vwala...engine up and running. It hasn't started this good since I bought the car in February from my older brother.

Evidently, the problem was a combination of faulty fuel pump and faulty camshaft sensor. The symptoms of this problem are located in the thread mentioned above, but I made a new thread so that people who search for this might have an easier time finding the info they need instead of having to go through that short thread. Anyway...I'm off to work. Today is gona rock...I'm so happy! Anyhow, thank you all for your help. I love Maxima.Org and I can't wait to get my stickers so I can sport it everywhere I go. You guys rule!
