and put on the max....my rear wheel well gap was gr8ly reduced. I went from Sears to Detail Works to Super Tire til I found a place that would take them. I could only do the rears since Sears is replacing my front rim. Can't wait til I get my fronts done... I'll then post pics of before and after so you can see how 235/50's look on 17x8's

 

Well they should fit a 17x8 rim, since 235/50/17's are the size of tires on the Lincoln LS with 17x7 rims.

They are only 3% off from the stock tire size, so there should be no problems.
