sold my max

ok so i got an offer on my max for 3g's. i bought some ksport springs and AE headlights tht i was gonna put on my maxima but since my maxima is hail damage, i dont think anybody would pay more than 1500 for my car. so now i have 3 weeks to find me a maxima tht i like. my question is; i want a 5.5 gen max (which i got a loan for 18g's) but monthly payments would be 346(5yrs)+almost 300 for insurance. 550-650 month. or i can buy a 97-99 5spd max (200 insurance) 400 monthly(2yrs)?? what should i do?? help me out ppl!!

Find a car you can pay for in cash. Dont get yourself into debt, especially while only being 18. I'm sure you will still go out and get the 5.5 gen, but hey, you asked for advice.

You guys offer awesome advice. Our country says 'go get it, no matter what the cost'. I agree with them. What have you got cash for? Could you sell your mods and start small? Maybe get a stock max, for cash....then build up? Debt stinks royal, you are slave to the lender when you have debt.....Start out ahead of us, go pay cash.

if you really want a max, try the Max FS section, try and stay away from big loans while young, and while you can. with a loan you'll end up paying thousands more than you should in interest, its ridiculous

Not just 18K....correct me if I'm wrong....but wouldnt he be paying the bank back:

60 months x $346 = $20,760...so you pay out an additional $2,760 in intrest not including mods and routine maintenance..

Definately buy another 4th gen. I agree. If you cant pay with cash get a hellofa smaller loan and get lower payments. My payments on my max are 160 a month. Insurance is 130 a month and I have 2 maximas. Go for what you know you can handle not what you think you can handle. Because thinking you could isnt good enough when it gets overwhelming like getting repo'd or something.
