I30 and maxima SE questions
I30 and maxima SE questions
Ok, i have access to a 4th gen I30 auto (has front end damage, but only the lights, bumper, etc.... no motor or drivetrain issues. I have a 97 SE and I know the interior will swap and the 90% are the same parts. Now my questions are these;
1. Are ALL the I30's LSD?
2. If so, are the LSD auto and 5sp specific? (Meaning can i swap a auto one into a 5sp?)
3. Are the I30 motors more powerful or do they have any other advantages over the maxima? ( im 95% positive they dont , but maybe they have a higher rev. limit or a broader torque band?)
4. If you had the chance to have the best of both worlds (in my opinion, a maxima body with a infiniti interior and infiniti 5sp) what would you do??????

They have identical motors. I30 will be heavier, if you don't go to the track a lot, would be nice to have the options.
