I'm going to get a SC, but just curious as to what I need with it. Does it come with the blow off valve or is that a extra? Also what guages besides boost will i need? Any help would be appreciated.

The kit comes with the Bosch blow off valve, not the nice shiny Blitz BOV that you see in the ads. It costs extra but I'm not sure how much. For gauges you need an A/F and boost for sure. A tranny cooler would be necessary as well. Find a real good speed shop that will do quality install work, unless you're a competent mechanic. Install time varies as the engine bay is very tight.

This is what i am getting to prep the car for the sc.

5speed:
ACT stage 2 clutch
Boost gauge,
A/F ratio gauge,
fuel pressure gauge
egt gauge,
aluminum idle pulley (replacement for v2),

for an auto, i suggest:
don's VB mod,
hayden tranny cooler,
boost gauge, fuel press, etc.

if ur auto, then, yea. watch the tranny...

I am getting:

Stillen Engine Oil Cooler (not a neccessity but...)
S-AFC...
Exhaust stuff (y, cat and cat-back)... I am still debating 2.5" or 3" setup
BOV
Intercooler... (no I am not talking out my bleep)
Boost Guage
Fuel Pressure Guage
Oil Pressure guage
Act stage 2 clutch
VLSD tranny

I doubt it will all be in before the SC, but it should all arrive within pretty short order.

Re: Re: Hmm...AAA card =)

the S-AFC is a good tool with the SC .. but gotta use dyno time to tune that sucker...

if you got a 95/96, you can get the Gforce ECU upgrade specifically tuned to the SC with your pulley. neat stuff....

talk to phil,
he's got a company making aluminum replacement idle pulleys for the v2,
i just dont want to take any chances, and taking the necessary pre-cautions before the blower goes in.

also suggest:
change your fuel filter prior to install..

How much is that pulley about, cheston?

I'm probably going to put the 300ZXTT fuel filter and put that in when I change mine, unless someone will answer me and tell me whether i can put the higher performance ones from summit racing in there.
