I was driving today with my girl down a street in the left lane. I was going like 70km in a 60 zone. As I began passing through an intersection on a green light, this big *** Lexus jeep starts making a right turn, and right in the LEFT LANE!! I slammed on the brakes, steered to the left, but that ***** still scraped my passenger fender. Then the ***** claimed it was my fault that I HAD TO LET HER PASS!!! Hmmm, I am going straight in a LEFT LANE on a MAJOR street, and I had to LET HER PASS??? Damn, she made me mad! AND she want's to do this through insurance... I got a witness though, so I doubt it will be a big problem!!!

Anyone know how much it will cost approximately to have the fender repainted or whatever. The damage is minimal, there are a bunch of scrapes, nothing major. I am also gonna claim that she cracked my rear taillight, 'cause mine is cracked
But, what a ***** and a headache!!!
Anyways, just wondering how much it will cost to fix this!

I hate that sh it. An old lady once tried a left when there was a fu cking curb separating the street. Got freaked out and reversed right into me. She had the nerve to say its my fault cause I'm YOUNGER than her. Told my insurance what happened, several days later her insurance calls me and tells me they'll pay for everything

The average cost to fix a fender with minor work will cost you about $300 some places a litle less and some places a litle more.

I got a quote from the dealership today! $1400CA!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't belief it!!! That money for NOTHING! You can hardly even see the marks, man they overcharge! But it's her insurance so I don't care. Still, that's a rip off!

I have a question...

How does the deductible on the insurance policy work?
Mine is $500, so that means any damage on the car under that I pay myself, or does that mean that when there is damage 500 will come out of my pocket?!

It sounds kinda ridicious to me but having it done at the dealer is like 2 times the amount it should be. I think a reasonable amount is about 500-800 Cdn. Since it's her insurance, just go for it!
