I put the blue semi-cheesy PepBoys bulbs in my step lamps and map light and they are dim as hell. Who makes brighter colored bulbs that will fit?

thanks,
/aac

Where did you get those PIAA's from?

I'm at school out in the middle of nowhere so I rely on online shopping quite a bit. Got an URL for me?

These are the PIAA Xtreme White wedge bulbs (the Plasmas looked greenish, so I traded with Jane):

RE:Plasma

Hey Y2Kev sorry I have to disagree with you on this one you said your plasma'a looked greenish,Mine look exactly the same as the picture that you have posted below with no green but with a blue tint to them,Are you sure those are not piaa plasma's on your car,I would have thought that the Piaa Xtreem white wedge bulbs would be really white not like the blueish Plasma bulbs like mine.

Positive... I put on the Plasmas and they looked sort of greenish/whitish. Then I put the Xtremes on Jane's car and they were bluish. She didn't like the blue hue so we traded.

I found it weird that the Plasmas were that color... hmmmm.... manufacturer's mistake?

I think there was some sort of mistake along,

the line somewhere because my plama's look exactly the same as your picture,I have two sets of plama's and they both look blue like your's so no mistake on my part.I think you have Plasma's then.

Hmmm.... here's my situation: Jane bought Xtreme White fog lights for her car. Then she wanted the bumper lights and clearance lights to match everthing else, so she bought the Xtreme White wedge bulbs for her car.

I had the HID Plasmas for my headlights and wanted the rear markers (wedge bulbs) to come as close as possible to the h4's. I bought the Plasma wedge bulbs to match them.

We went back to her place and started swapping out the bulbs for our cars. I went first and swapped out the rears with the Plasmas. Then to my disappointment they were whitish-green. I thought... oh well...

Next we went to her car. Swapped out the h3's with no problems. Then came the bumper lights. We swapped them out, check them out, then low and behold they were bluish.

She didn't like the "ricey" look and I did so we swapped. There's my story. We thought it was weird that the bulbs weren't what they were suppose to be (Plasmas = bluish and Whites = whitish). Maybe the boxes were labeled wrong. Thanks for the info though.
