I got my maxi back!

Well after a 3 long months of driving an expedition and seeing my max just sit there I
decided I couldnt go on no longer with out my max.. So after a week to thinking of how Im gonna covince my dad to give me my car back I finnaly approach him with my dillema and suprisingly he wanted my expedition... So we made our arrangments and swaped cars, and now Im back.. I tried to over come my obsession with maxima's and wasting all my money on cars by getting an expedtion.. But if it means Im must be broke to modify so be it.. I love maximas and thats what I do.. I never sold my volks so Ill be getting those put on soon, but I sold my Ksports, So thats gonna be my first mod only I think Im going JIC this time.. Well just thought I'd let every one know Im back..

I was wondering why you made that thread about CE headlights in the 4G forum. I didn't want to be a d!ck and ask if your dad still had that car though, and why you'd replace them if that's the case. Oh well, good to hear about you getting your car back. Any specific reason to go with JIC's this time around?

gtr_rider :
Thanks man, really appratiate it.

VIP Maxima :
I like them but Im kinda glad I got rid of them cause Im thinking bout
getting JIC's.... I could never get the Ks to sit right and I had noise issues..
I never here JIC owners complain like Ksport & D2's complain.. Im not gonna
lie I did love em , I just want a quit ride... Im not gonna leave the Ksports out
of my options, so its between Ksports, JIC's or Tein.. Your rides lookin sick by the way... What kinda rotors and calipers r those?

BigLou93SE :
Thanks... I just think the Ksports are too confusing when it comes to adjusting.
and Ive been keeping up with the Ksport Thread and every other post has something
bad to say about them... Im glad I never had a real bad problem like a blown
strut or my Ks breaking like Ive read has happened to some people.. Mines where
actually pretty good I just think the LICs might be better.. I never heard of
anyone complain of them.. but who knows I might end up getting them again anyway.

Welcome back

Good thing you didnt sell all mods from your car, you would almost have to start from scratch. Very sexy maxima, with JIC's and your wheels back on, you'll be set.

Any other plans after coilovers? or pausing after that?

MDeezy:
Im glad I didnt.. I wouldnt ever be able to afford anothe set volks.. I really miss my drop and cant wait to get my new suspension, but I have to fix a couple things first, but damn cant wait to be as low as I was.

they are brembo rotors and stock cali's. if i had the $$ for JIC's i wouldnt look into anything else either. but i think its just too much money for suspension regardless of how good they are.

In regards to no one complaining about JICs... you also realize that there are very few on here who have them, due to cost, right? So that means that the chances of you hearing someone say something bad about them are very small...

But I think you should go for it anyway, I would too if I had the $$.

Nice max. Glad to see you got it back, it was a big ordeal when you lost it.

Damn man that looks real good... How did you get the Nissan lable on the calipers??.. Looks very convinsing..

MorpheusZero:
Thanks.. I really thinking hard on this one cause your right.. Cost is extremely high. If do go with anything else its more then likly gonn be Ksports.. I guess its really depending on how long I can go with out being low again.. I probobly end up with the K's again cause I hate rolling around like this... Once youve been that low you can never go back.. VIP Maxima, you probobly know what Im talking a bout right?

welcome back man!

on the topic of coilovers, in the ksport thread, it has been shown many times that the only people that are having problem are up in the northern areas where the temperatures drop down a ton, and have road issues, you being in texas you should'nt have as much problems.

also the costs on repairing jics vs ksports is a huge difference, the cost to fix a blown coilover through JIC is a few hundred, i remember blackbirdvq has had to fix 2 IIRC, and cost him a few hundred each one(IIRC around 300). Fixing a blown strut through ksport only costs roughly around 100 dollars, and since you are right next to AZ shipping costs will be extremely little, i mean it only cost me 35 bucks to ship all four from chicago so i cant even think of how cheap it would be for you to ship.
looking at these facts IMHO ksports are the way to go especially for cost.

once again, i'm glad you are back, your max has always been one of my favorites here on the .org

Crying, huh? Goes to show what kinda business man you really, **** face!

Why the **** did you accept my offer then? You told me to Paypal you $900 and to consider them sold, and now all of a sudden you want to apologize to me (BTW, use spell check)? I just want the community to know what kinda seller you really are, obviously you weren't serious about selling them if you held on to them for 4 months

I close the deal with this "iffy" ***** and pay him and he refunds me even though I stayed committed on my end. DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES HIGH ON BUYING SOMETHING FROM enomik-1 he'll consider the item sold and then a few days later, he'll give to you w/o vaseline. NOW I'M STUCK WITH NO WHEELS!

Be warned folks.

Welcome back! definetaly one of the nicest 4th gens i've seen as well.
what rim size + tire size you running? cause I think you are dropped more or less like me and I see the pic you have the stillen kit, how low does it really sit to the ground? reason I am asking, I want to ride the same height as last year and I also just got a stillent lip, therefore, I want to make sure I'll get clearance once installed and that low....

btw, I agree with you. Once you've driven a low car, you can't go back..
