No Maxies in Japan

No Maxies in Japan

Hi Guys
Been in japan(osaka) for about two weeks. Havent seens any maximas(old or new).A few skylines and there 240 & 300\350Z, bluebirds. Man theres a bunch of peanut(small) cars here. Got some magzines, nice pics but cant read<#$"@ wonder if theres any here?

I think they have cefiros or as we know em here in the states I30's.

No they run the Teana in Japan.



I beleive our 6th gen is only available in North America...

In Australia they have a "maxima" but I beleive it is the Teana re-badged as a Maxima.

they've been running cefiros every where but america. those are maximas they look like i30s though.

Basically...Infiniti I30 and I35s were sold as Maximas/Cefiros/etc. every where else when they were available. The Teana is the overseas Maxima (though certain regions still use the Maxima namesake) that looks like a cross between an M35, Altima and Maxima. It's not the prettiest car in the world, either...

I had seen a 5th gen with a Maxima badge in Iraq.

IIRC there is no 4th or 5th Gen. Maximas in Japan, not just 6th Gen. As others said, only A32s or A33s sold over there are Cefiros, and they are basically I30s here in the U.S.

If Infiniti did not discontinued the I35, maybe this is what it would've looked like.
