27 horsepower doesnt constitute 596 dollars, you can get that for less than 596.

also wanted to add that anybody who adds this to their car will be asking for the guarantee back as we just wont get 27 hp at 1.7 psi.

With this turbo you should expect similar gains to what the SOAPRA guys put down.

I agree, that's pretty minimal...

More and more I'm contemplating a rear-mounted
turbo setup on the Maxima. I could do it on a budget
by getting the turbo at the JY off a SAAB or Volvo
or perhaps even some turbodiesel MB. The oil
lines would be the biggest B!tch to install.

Anyone here have experience with those rear mounted
turbo setups? Supposedly the heat disipation means a
intercooler is not essential.

Umm... I don't understand why you wouldn't just put it up next to the engine... unless you have an aircraft size turbo...

ill sell you a fan that goes in between your piping....i bet you it will give the same gains as this crap you posted.

dont buy it, im sure if it really worked, it would be really popular by now.
there's a reason why no one really heard or knows about this.
i've heard about it, but not enough proof for me to buy it.

I like where there headed with the idea but it needs mork work. 1.7psi ain't going to cut it, for $500+. If it were to produce no less than 5psi and above for a reasonable price then..... The reason why it hasn't happened because they can't find an electric motor that will spin the blades fast enough at a reasonable size to fit in the Intake piping.

if you're gonna spend 600 bucks on that thing, you might as well just start saving up for a real turbo kit.

either that or if you have the skills to fab one yourself, it won't be that much more expensive.

I read a car magazine the other day, and was going through the letters to the editor. There was one saying that he was the inventor of the electric supercharger and would appreciate it if that particular magazine would stop ripping on his product. I couldnt stop laughing... Now if I could just remember which one it was........

I'd hold on to your 600 bucks and try other ways to get hp.
