The Exhaust Leak that never goes away!!
Hey guys, I've a WSP y-pipe, WSP racing pipe, and a greddy sp exhaust. Anyways, I always find that I have an exhaust leak from my y-pipe to the race pipe. The gaskets connecting the two always blow.I have replaced them at least three times. I always use just standard gaskets that you would get at any exhaust shop.
Is there any such thing as a super strong gasket that wouldnt cause an exhaust leak or anything that will help keep those two pipes together so it doesn't leak? I about to say f*ck it and have them weld the two pipes together. It makes my car sound like a POS. Any suggestions?? Thanks, you all kick a**. -Steve

I get the same leak between my WSP Y and the stock Cat. The Nissan gasket doesn't work. This time around I used a generic exhaust gasket with exhaust gasket cement. So far, so good. I also replaced the hanger this time around. Make sure yours is in good shape or replace that as well so the system is held securely.
