why is this forum so inconvenience. most forums have attachment button where you can attach files like pics, etc.

Even after they hatch, don't disturb them any more than you already have or it could scare the mother bird away and without her, they will starve.

actually the mother is very persistent in protecting and feeding them. yea, don't over disturb them. the pic is two days after they hatched.

Birds have hatched. They did about five days ago but they were ugly as fxck so I spared us all. Now they are still pretty ugly but I'm not sure how long they're gonna chill in the nest so I figured I get a shot while I could.

712s are way better than the stockers, and he's not spending money on tires right now because the front suspension and tires will be stock until next year.

Shhh... You aren't supposed to notice that part. LOL The intention of my coments is directed toward the suspension and fuel cell setup mainly. I absolutely know that 712's have very little grip in them. I'll be running R compounds at somepoint. Probably RA-1's in 255/45 But there really is no point right now as the front suspension is completely stock besides coilovers.

Hahaha, alright alright. Just make sure you don't do any crazy driftAring with them as they'll delaminate on you when they get too hot.

Badass looking car though, to the rear suspension..

Story from Saturday night cruising.

Its the first night of cruising with the 240 since I've finished it all. Everything is going great. Everyone is having a good time. No cops. No accidents. A couple races. No deer. Etc...

Everything was going great until Mark, CSVT took my car for a spin. He was driving for no more than two minutes when he managed to hit the only deer that had been spotted all night in my car. He shall forever be named "Deer Slayer"

I guess mother nature decided that cars weren't so good for the environment after all. Pics...






I guess I'll be doing the silvia conversion a bit sooner than I anticipated. I originally planned to do the front fascia and suspension this winter but it looks like I'll start now.

broaner!!

The damage doesnt appear to be too bad but, you'll still have to replace a few parts.

Its not a good feeling. I headbutted a Deer before and it was a costly fix. Glad you guys are ok, and hope the repairs a minimal.

Thanks man. Yeah I'm alright. I wasn't even in the car. Mark was driving. He said the car barely even slowed down or dove because I'm on a very stiff suspension. Plus he was strapped in so the only way he could've been injured was if she came through the windsheild.

Really I don't care about the cost of the damage. I was going to completely redo the front end body work anyway. The only thing that p!sses me off is that I won't be able to rock the car for most of the summer. This is especially true since the nice cruising season up here is very limited time. I mean this was the first night I had her out. Probably had less than 50 miles since my most recent slew of mods.

I have the whole series of events on camera if someone could host it. Rather funny I think.

Anyway, rebuilding is underway. New front fenders are here. Its gonna take a ton of work to get them to fit but they'll be nice in the end. Next up bumper.

I liked this thread so I thought I'd revive it. Not birds this time. Mice have invaded my shop. I've been seeing one basically everytime I'm working out there. I found evidence of a nest in the framerail of my 240. I found a coon digging around in the abandoned F250 in the yard. Next I'm gonna find a blackbear or a fxckin wildabeast munching on my wiring or something. I swear...

Wow Broan, you are a true friend to the environment. A regular Marlin Perkins.

If you really want to enjoy a good smoke try Ashton VSG's. They are harsh but oooooooo so good...and a little more expensive. For cheap cigars, I will do Avo, Cuesta Rey, or La Flor Dominicana.
