I need to know which generation key fob this is. The guy I got my Max from bought it brand new off flea-bay and he could not figure out why it wouldn't work(mine MAX is 4th gen...).

So, I think it is 2000 or newer, I just need to know which classified forum to put it in to sell it to buy the right one(or trade it...hint hint anyone)

It looks like a key fob for an Infiniti I30 or the Infiniti QX4/Nissan Pathfinder fob.

 

my keyfobs look like that... '00-'01. check the FCC ID, mine reads: NHVWBU43

 

Its an 00/01 maxima fob. I think the sentras for those years (maybe altimas too) also use that same design. The only way to know for sure is check the S/N and the FCCID.

 

it's not for an Infinity, it has the Nissan logo on the front down at the bottom, although you cant see it in this pic b/c its too blurry.
