Wow, I read every page on here and I just need to say............... I am proud to be a part of such a skeptical and answer seeking community.

Because from the get-go, when I read the introduction to the product I was already thinking... "hmmm.... 20% increase in MPG? If that were true then all the manufacturers would have probably adopted the product and charge car buyers a premium for advanced fuel saving technology that will blow your pants off and made a quick buck."

What confuses me is the idea of the catalyst, so if it were to create a chemical reaction to somehow make our fuel turn into "super fuel" then what exactly is being done to our fuel?

So gasoline is a hydrocarbon and if I remember my high school chemistry, it contains hydrogen and carbon, so if you were to put in a catalyst it would create a by product wouldn't it? Since nothing in chemistry simply disappears it turns into something else. So I guess unless that by-product is something that burns extremely well like nitrous oxide or something then.................... or maybe the catalyst moves the molecules around into a more efficient shape or something. What I don't get is, how can you make gasoline burn better chemically while doing all those other amazing things? If the chemical turns the gasoline into something OTHER than gasoline then it won't burn.

My head hurts..........

But either way that sounds like a LOT of advanced chemistry for something you just drop into the fuel to let slosh around.

This thread reminded me of a product I found at Best Buy. It was a device you plug into your cigarette lighter with a green and red light that flashes on and off. And it claims that by plugging that device into your hole, it regulates your voltage and helps the computer run without any spikes in voltage. Therefore, causing your car to run more efficient because the ECU can read sensor signals better.

Guess what the product looks similar to..................... Riddex Pulse. And a Google search of Riddex Pulse (which claims to protect your home from bugs by flashing green and red lights which somehow causes the wiring in your entire home to emit a magnetic whatever to repel bugs) will set you free.
