I have a few questions about them before I buy one. Here goes

1) fittment compared to stock hood?
2) weight difference between the two? (actual weights?)
3) all nesessary hardware to make direct bolt on?
4) predrilled holes for windshield squirters?
5) uses OEM hood shocks?
6) any other comments?
7) approx. cost$$ ? and shipping to NY, hehe!

thanks alot,
hope this helps out anyone else looking to buy one.

Cheston is the man to answer this one but I do know a couple of answers. The stock hood weight is 42lbs. and the cf hood is 17lbs. As for hardware you can use the stock latch but you'll have to purchase new hood shocks since the cf hood is much lighter. And as for fitment there is a pic of it on Cheston's site somewhere. I remember seeing it and it looked good. Especially if you have a black car...hehe
Try here: http://www.maximadriver.com

Actually here is the pic I was referring to and in this thread it also contains all the answers to your questions:

1) fittment compared to stock hood?

direct fit.
no need for pins. uses stock latch.

2) weight difference between the two? (actual weights?)

Stock: 42lb
CF: 16.5 lb

3) all nesessary hardware to make direct bolt on?

DIRECT bolt-on

4) predrilled holes for windshield squirters?

that can be requested....

5) uses OEM hood shocks?

OEM hood shocks can NOT be used. the cf hood is too light to use. we're trying to find the shocks to fit.

6) any other comments?

ITS FREAKin' AWESOME!!! LOOKKKKKSSS TIIIIGHTTT

7) approx. cost$$ ? and shipping to NY, hehe!

shipping is $100. truck freight.

for ordering. you have to get me your contact info b4 july 1st else its over.... then the price will go to $649.99

Yo cheston...I'll ask you about this on AIM too, but Do they make Fiberglass ones? And if so, would they be as light? The reason I ask is that, I wouldn't want the carbon fiber color, I'd want my body color. You know anything about painting it? Thanks Cheston.
