I'm working on buying and selling some wheels with tires already mounted. How do you pack these to be shipped? Is there a special container?

Secondly, do I use UPS or the Post Office or what?

I go to the UPS office everynight.And I see people shipping them out they either put them in a box.Or they put cardboard on each side to cover them up!

 

Put card board on both sides to protect the face of the rim. Put some padding for further protection. Tap it individually.

 

I received my Borbets + Pirelli's from Tirerack (via UPS) with just cardboard on the sides (ie treads exposed). I was wonderin' .... if some rubber-eatin' chemical spilled on them, some sharp object came in contact, some rubber-scrapin' conveyor was used..... you know what I mean.
