Another VERY happy Raxles.com customer

Last week I noticed my CV boot was ripped when I was changing my ABS sensor

Called up raxles.com by referral of irish44j and many other happy customers to order a new axle. Spoke with Marty (the owner) and ordered one on Tuesday. Received my axle on Friday and WOW. The quality of the axle is better than one I've ever seen.

What really sets apart this great customer service is what is included in the box. As you can see in the picture, Marty included:

http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~nbalani/CIMG3112.JPG

1. Rubber gloves
2. Grease towel
3. Return shipping label for core
4. PRINTED directions to the nearest UPS store
5. A sweet raxles.com pocketknife

The only thing I was really expecting was the return label. I was just amazed at the level of quality service and thoughtfulness Marty used in the order. So although the axle is not yet on my car, the point of this thread is just to let everyone know that if Marty can take the time to add these extra ammenities in the box (for fun and convenience), I am more than willing to recommend raxles.com to anyone who ever needs an axle at a very fair price, and for excellent customer service

good stuff....I just installed the passenger-side one as well from raxles. Marty once again was excellent.

If you look in the photo he linked to, it shows that he paid abotu $170 plus an $80 core charge.

the core charge is odd....Marty hasn't charged me a core charge for either axle I've ordered from him I must sound more trustworthy than dj, heheh....

that, or he's running low on maxima axles with all of us ordering them, and needs to make sure he gets them back. i'm shipping out my core to him tomorrow....

I didn't pay a core. It was $149 + 19.xx shipping. <$170 for everything, and he will definitely be getting his core back.

Reminds me of this comapny that my friend buys vw parts from and they send candy and a cd w/ the parts you order.

Once my axles start to make noise im gonna replace em w/ raxles.

IIRC he told me that he only charges you the core charge if you dont send him your old axles back. Granted, I had the advantage of local pickup

Correcto. I sent him an email with a link to this thread and he clarified that. No core charge unless he doesn't get it back. And UPS just gave him an award for his packaging

I can attest to the excellent service that Marty provides for his axles.

Although he's been having an issue with maxima ppl sending in the wrong cores for LSD axles and really screwing up the system. Too much mis-information on the org sometimes.

got my pass side axle going in tomo.

its odd how the 00s use a differnet axle than all the other years. thats the only reason mine was 170 instead of 140. funky!

I would've thought the 00-01 parts would be the same.
