Claiming being the key word

I think everyone assumes that their numbers are greatly inflated.

Plus, if the stock car had an old, clogged cat, you would see a lot more than 2hp.

2 seems reasonable over a new stock cat. I would think a new OEM cat would give you a 5hp gain over a clogged one.

I replaced my 70k mile cat with a RT one, and can honestly say I noticed an improvement. Not 14hp, but it was better than stock.

From all the people I've talked to (5th gens) they say the RT isn't worth it unless you are running an SC or boost of some form. From the looks of it you are running NOS so I'm sure it would be most benefical at that point. A couple of HP at most IMO but 14hp is almost funny!

If you have an intake, y-pipe, cat back and NOS I'm sure the RT Cat would complete the setup and give you reasonable gains at that point. But I would do the RT cat very last out of those mods.

Hmm.. the numbers might be right but they might have also put a few more mods on. Unless someone here claims they were there when they did it. I know a few people have dynoed with a R/T cat. They gained 1-2hp at best. Even if your boosted or juice, i dont think you can pull 14hp out of it. I know i havent pulled 14hp from my R/T cat even when i spray. Just hollow the sucker out!
