Link to "How to repair scratch\curbbed rim."

So this past Saturday I go to get my haircut in the morning. I'm parking may car in front of my barber's place and did not realize how close to the curb the front of my car was so I scratch my rim. I ran out of the car and looked at the rim. The scratch was no more then an inch long. I was pissed as you can probably imagine. So I got my haircut ran home and got on the Net to look up how I can fix this. I found this site that tells you step, by step on how to fix a scratch rim. (Really works great!!!)

I then ran to the store and got the needed supplies. All together cost me about $25.00

The guy claims it should take about 40 minutes, but it took me like 3 hours to get it right. If this does happen to me again I can see it taking 40-50 minutes now that I know how to do it right.

I wish I had taken a picture of my rim before I fixed it.

Anyway...

here's the link, I'm pretty sure many of you might already know about this link, but for the ones that don't know here it is!

Just done this on my cousin's mazda 6 wheel. First time we had done something like that and it was an awesome experience. His rim was curbed bad. He slid into a curb doing about 20. I will post up some pics later showing the damage. The before and after. The wheel looks brand new unless you know exactly where the curb damage was and looked like 2 inches away. Overall very happy with the results.

The only bad thing is the paint we used. We bought some paint from advance auto parts and well I think we need the Wurth silver paint. That looks just like his color wheel. The paint we used was a darker silver.
