Do-It-Yourself (DIY) videos

I made a few videos that may be helpful to you:

1. How to add Deep Creep (made by the makers of SeaFoam) directly to your intake manifold, and do a much better (and easier) job of cleaning out your engine than SeaFoam

2. How to clean your MAF -- mass aior flow sensor. with sprayable Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner:

3. How to clean your engine compartment using the Shark portable steamer:

Cleaning the IACV video

Thanks to everyone for their nice comments.

As it turns out, I have planned on cleaning my IACV either this weeknd or next, and when I do, I'll have the camcorder running.

Also, I plan on doing a video on cleaning out the TB, too.

Then, I'll have a whole series on Spring Cleaning Your Ride.

one idea would be to start doing this on www.youtube.com that way you would have a more condensed, more personal list of DIY episodes that could be bookmarked by your viewers, lol !

Good post. I just did the starter grease myself. That would make a good video too but it took me 2+ hrs the first time so you don't want me as the instructor.

Good ideas. On the other hand, if I had filmed the last time I changed my plugs, I'd have to bleep out about 1/2 of the dialogue.

Do a DIY video on how to get a haircut Just having fun. On a serious note, when I saw a aerosol can I was saying to myself how effective can this be. Sure enough I search Deep Creep and found out it's a multi-purpose lubricant/cleaner.

SEA FOAM DEEP CREEP
DEEP CREEP a Multitude of Uses!
LUBRICATES pulleys, ball bearings, hinges, wheels, fishing reels, sewing machines, valves, locks, rollers, toys, bicycle chains, gears, fan blades and drawers.
PENETRATES rusted parts, seized parts, muffler clamps, heat risers and exhaust bolts.
CLEANS grease, tar, adhesives and metal parts.
ALL OF THESE USES AND MANY MORE
Safe, Fast, and Reliable
Penetrates, Lubricates and Cleans
Penetrating lubricant
Penetrates rusted parts
Air intake cleaner
Carbon remover
Engine fogging oil
Starting spray with lube
Airtool lubricant and cleaner
Gun cleaner and lubricant
Lock lubricant and de-icer
Moisture dispersant
Metal surface protectant
Road tar remover
Adhesive and grease cleaner
Lubricates pulleys, hinges, locks and toys and much more!

Be careful of what you spray into your engine. I'll feel more confident using a engine specific cleaner instead of a multi-purpose cleaner/lubricator

Awesome. Thanks for that effort!

Watched the MAF cleaning and am ready to go (just have to get the cleaner). Maybe it will bring some smoothness back to my increasingly un-smooth 3rd Gen.

Did you know that gasoline is a pretty good, all-purpose cleaner, too?

That I'm aware of, but would you use gasoline to lubricate a door hinge or loosen a rusted bolt? What I'm saying is, in today's market they have specific chemicals out there for specific jobs, which might be better than a multi purpose chemical for the same job.
