Dry, not necessarily sunny, but anything dry, any temp between 50-85. Just no wind.

Bad experiences in rain.

One: Coming off of I95, following a friend. Not at en excessive speed, but there was what we call 'Florida Ice', the oils from cars on the road...was trying to make the light on the exit ramp, so I could stay behind my friend, and I got sideways, around 60 deg left. Then a bit to muc countersteer, gave me about 40 deg angle to the right, then some more counter steer, still sliding, then I straightened out...wonder what the other half dozen people were thinking at that light...quote from my friend "I look back and your just completely sideways one way, then the other, then the other" I learned from that...

Two: Last night, had 2 people in the car, goin to Chilis...nearly missed the turn, braked hard, and just locked 'em up on the wet road. Didnt hit anything, wasnt really close, didnt get sideways, just locked em up. On new tires too. Oh well, that 'Florida Ice' again.

Not playing around, or being stupid, just not thinking...gotta stop that(or start that?) :P

oh man is that what i have to look forward to? well i think the max is worth it, its taken care of me so i should take care of it in return.....yes i got a quote from a mechanic to change 1 coil and he said over $200! so i am VERY greatful for this site ......thanks for the lookout on the deals too

I like driving on a warm summer evening in southern california. Temperature in the lower 70's, car is sparkling clean, and all the windows and sunroof opened.
I also love driving in foggy conditions. I like to watch the headlight beam pattern cut through the fog and watch the misty air flowing by infront of me.

nothing like a nice crisp fall day - where the air is dense enough to give that extra power - yet its not too cold where you have to wear a jacket.

I love driving in the rain. Love it. It displays how great of a driver I am.

dry and sunny for obvious reasons however i actually enjoy it much more when it's wet, depending on the road cover.

it rides on rails.. totally smooth, no bumps, no vibrations. i now it's because of the minimal hydroplaning but still, rides like a limo.

definitely has to be the winter driving. something about slamming on the brakes and not stopping is a breathtaking oxymoron...

Late summer (August, September) Late evening (9-11PM) No rain, just nice cooler air (80s) Windows down, music playing,

When traveling long distanced I like summer from 1-5 AM, you all know why

gee sunny days scores the highest on the poll, what a suprise

as for myself, i obviously like the sunny days but i hate the hot and humid summer sunny days, fall and spring are perfect

snow is fun but once you have a 4wd truck like i did 2 winters ago you dont want to go back to a car

I dont really like driving in the rain all that much. Had my bad experience April '06 with my 2003 Corolla 5spd...RIPieces F/n around w/a friend of mine and took a 25mph rolling left corner that slopes down to the right in his neighborhood @ 35mph and slid off of the road straight into a tree.

That wasn't a good day for me... Those dang airbags, tire rod breaking, tire popping and dented frame made the loudest freaking BANG I've ever heard too.

I'll stick with driving on dry COLD sunny days. The Max loves that cold air! And no more F/N around in the rain for me.
