one of my headlights looks brighter the n the other

and it is loose can soemone plz help me out as in how to tighten it
the one loose is the one that shines brighter ...
hmmm
the bulbs are brand new both of them

U can take your car to like jiffy lube and pay them $5 to fix it and have them point the right direction. they have a little sucktion thing that alligns the lights properly. as far as one brighter then the other. U sure its that or the one brighter is faceing up so it looks like its brighter?

Try this...

right behind the headlight under the hood should be a place where you can adjust the light. Pull up to a garrage or wall about two or three feet away. You can adjust your alignment this way. As far as the headlight being loose you might have somthing broken. But iam not for sure. my two cents.

isnt it designed so that the passenger side light is a lil brighter than that on the driver's side? i heard this was done so that you dont blind oncoming traffic..

You may want to look at the seal around your head lamps. They may be leaking water. My father has a '89 maxima and one of the head lamps has a gap in the seal which lets water in the lens. That bulb is dimmer and yellowish.
