ECU removal

Is removal of the ECU in a 4th gen as difficult as it seems? The writeup I read said to unscrew the 4 small philips screws (front and back on each corner) that mount the actual ECU into the bracket. They are a beeyotch to get to. Is there an easier way?

Go to Autozone and buy a 2pack of these 90* screw drivers. They are 2.99, only problem is on the pass. side rear screw you wont clear it,you'll have to cut one in half. You'll see what I mean.

Its a PITA. I used a 90* ratcheting screw diver thing and FINALLY got all the screws out. The problem is on the Passenger Sider Rear the ECU Harness gets in the way.
