What is the product of choice for smoking corner lights or tail lights?

 

I know people use VHT Nightshades with pretty good results.

what tips did u get?

 

i wet sanded the lamp, painted a light-medium (basically just one actual coat) of flat black. Then as many coats of clear coat as you want, I used 4 and still feel like more could have worked, but it's fine for now, I could always add more later. Another tip that I would give any one who is going to try this, on the front orange markers, you MUST paint the edge, adjacent to the actual lense on the housing. If you do like i did and spray the lense from the top, you will miss this edge, and it is quite visible when in the fender. An orange outline, is no good, considering your going for blacked out. I had to take them out, tape off the lense which was all finished, and i just sprayed the housing quickly with a gloss black. Much better.
