I dont need 3" exhaust for Supercharger do i ?

i have been told that 3" Exhaust parts specially made for supercharged cars have actually lost 1hp on dyno tests. So is it okay for me to keep my 2.5" RT Cat, Y-pipe, Apexi catback when i get a supercharger ? because i really dont want to have to get all new stuff. Thanks
