Why is nissan SO stupid?

In the next few months i will be in the market for a new car, I've been looking at infiniti's, bimmers, a porsche or two, but figured the new altima is supposed to be great, ill go price one out online. I begin to build a 3.5 SE 6speed, i figure i may as well option it out, so the first thing i click, fog lights..not only requires $2,000 worth of other options, but worse it requires a CVT to be chosen, the stupidity of that is beyond me. Ohh well, i guess ill do what i did with ford after i didnt like their way of doing things a similar manner...i wont buy a nissan (although i guess if i do end up in an infiniti they dont really care). How they can be this dumb though is beyond me.

Sorry for the rant

Ohh, and yes i will still keep my 98 I30 when i get something newer, the C240 is finnally departing

Well, the BMW, Audi (didnt mention that the first time around), porsche, and possibly infinit would all be used, i figured id spec out an altima that was loaded with everything and see what i thought. I really want RWD, but where i live FWD does have its ups, as does AWD. But nissan made my list one shorter very easily

I'm sure those options has something to do with the new Altima coupe. Those options might be different.

just select the sport package

I was looking at altimas the other day and I came across the perfect (IMO) one at the dealer. It was a 6-speed with the sport package that comes with foglights, rear spoiler, and a sunroof. Sticker was 26k including destination charge.

yeah i actually built an altima 3 days ago, and was soo pissed because i was trying to avoid the option with the sat radio because the price became something like 32k.

Id go for the G35 (6spd), S2000, E46 M3, S4, 330, or E36 M3. Overall nice range of choices there, also mazdaspeed6? its AWD but nice. or if you have the money to get a porsche, why not hold out for about a year and get the GT-R???

you know, I love my I35. Never liked the g35 b/c it always felt lacking and cheap on the inside. More in line with Altima vs. Max. But man thos enew g35's look sweat. Fast as can be, and they finally remedied the cheap interior. I should get another 4 years at least ou tof mine though, at whgich time I can hopefully afford a 2004 or later 911.

I'm assuming it's just a fun car to replace the C240. The I30 is staying, so I assume that's the DD/practical car in the stable. For pure fun, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices there, except maybe the G. It falls more into the luxury category than sport if you ask me.

Just to help you out.....if I were you, I'd get an 06' S4 (new body w/4.2 v8), or CTS-V.

Well, I'm not sure what your price range really is, but I'd say the 07 G35 is an awesome car for the money. The only downside I can speak of is its lacking in trunk space.

that list made me laugh....because the max was the most "elite" car in my list of cars I could afford. It's sucks being poor and paying back loans...

but M3 FTMFW!
