Ksport check up

So I haven't posted in a while but I'm always on reading and learning the most i can about maximas but i wanted to know, since the original Ksport thread is way outdated hows every on doing on their Ksports? I'm looking into getting another set real soon after i get my ACT clutch installed along with my new axle.. I sold my set when I thought I was getting rid of my car but I couldn't do it.. When I had em on I loved the performance they offered but didn't like the noises i was hearing and some other lil things, but over all i loved em.. So post up and let me know how yall been..

im actually really disappointed in them. the fronts make way too much noise even though ive cleaned and greased them 4 times in 6 months. also the pass. back already busted. other than that its ok.

Had mine for about 3 months, no noises whatsoever. Waiting for one of them to blow.

i like the customer service. I dont think i consider these that great for the street, i cant avoid every pothole, and i've replaced 3 so far in a little over a year. I noticed rust in the pillow ball mounts and on the threads of the damper body when going through my routine return to stock suspension while i send back my blown dampers to ksport.

btw, your maxima looks good!

yeah i liked em but i would always read of problems on the original ksport forum.. i never had any major problems but then again i only rode on em fro a couple of months before i sold em.. i was strongly considering goin back to ksports but i wanted orgers in site on how well they've held up.. guess not as good as i thought... well it was either ksports or tein basics for me but i guess i'll be goin tein this time around..

I have had mine for about 4 months with no problems, but in that 4 months I have maybe put 1000 miles on my car. No odd noises or anything though. The ride to me is a little harsh but oh well.

NO problems here. I swapped out to 7/5 springs though because 9/7 were to stiff for me.

From what I have heard the D2's ae made in the same factory as K-Sports. Other than that I don't have any expierence with them.

I've has the K-Sports on for almost 2 years with no problems except (pardon my lack of knowledge here) the lower bracket came lose and tore my CV boot.

I feel comfortable estimating that Ksports should last about 50k miles in the Northeast (winter, rough roads). Down south, it should be longer. That is about on par with any good coilover kit. Hell, some OE suspensions barely last that long...

I've had a few blowouts but they were probably my fault... I definitely did some fairly stupid things setting them up initially.

dont listen to the negatives! i had mine sitting on the ground and ith a little tolerance for stiff rides it is awesome. its not good for any of your steering components to go that low. i am just at the wheels with my fenders and honestly it rides like its not lowered at alllll
