Today, I had my windshield replaced. The main reason why I needed to replace the windshield was because of the long crack on the windshield. After I got that done, I went to get a new brake tag because the old one just expired. Anyway, to make it short, I didn't pass inspection because of the illegal tint that I had. I got a temporary tag. The guy there suggested to me that I should get this tint called Titanium tint. It blocks out the sun's ray, looks cool, and it's LEGAL. So, anyone have this one this Maxima, preferably a superblack one? I heard of this tint, but not sure what it look like.

Louisiana. I have 20% tint all around. I know that if I go around, I might find someone who will "look pass" the tint. However, I don't think it's worth the hassle, worrying about the tint everytime I get a brake tag.

I have this
As the other posters have said, I doubt the issue is what the tint is made of, but the %. I have dark titanium in the rear 5 windows, light on the front two. For the front two, it is hard to tell by looking at it that it is tinted, but supposedly it blocks a high percentage of UV light. (Front tint is illegal in CA, but I've only heard of them targeting people with noticeable tint).
