4th Gen suspension swap to 5th Gen and vise versa

Hey guys im looking to swap out my kyb/progress setup out of my 4th Gen to a 5th Gen and taking the 5th Gen coilovers to put on my 4th Gen.

my question is does it work? will there be a perfect fit or will there have to be some modifications done in order for it to be a perfect fit or will it not fit at all

thanks

I think the rear is kind of different and you need to do some modifications however I don't remember exactly..............

It can be done, but you're gonna have to modify both suspensions in order to do the swap.

It will not be easy. Both front and rear need to be modified.

I'm using 5th gen progress springs on my 1999 with no modifications but using 4th gen struts so i don't know if that changes anything.

Springs are easy, I ran 4th gen Eibachs for a long time. The struts however have completely different mounting holes for the front hub, as well as the rear tops I believe.
