Anytime the wife and I go out it's usually the Max. If I've had too many Martinis then she drives me home, otherwise nobody drives the Max.

Ive had the unpleasant priviledge of letting my fiance drive my car. I know its a car but its my car. Her car has been giving her problems so I dont want her to be stranded. I gave her the nice talk of it being lowered and even though she puts 87 in hers I use 93 and thats all there is to be used in there. She agreed. I didnt hand the keys over so willingly but she drives it for now.

Wifey... considering she " lets " me do all the $$ modding $$ and $hit I want to it with no hassle. Then again she's a good driver, knows how to take driveways, turns and parks away from the curves etc.

I have a 96 auto maxima only because the wifey can't drive stick and wanted a car that is safe for the family and sporty so we opted for the auto. she and my sister are the only people I let drive the car on another note
(one day I will switch it to 5 sod over night on her) hahahah, Not likely but its a nice hope lol

yea i generally don't let people drive my car because most people i know don't drive stick, and i dont want them to get into accidents and me have to deal with it. the only person that drives my car aside from me would probably be my dad. and sometimes i teach some girls (dont hate) lol

Yeah, Ive been letting my fiance drive my car and its been eating at me. She's been having some issues with her car so I drive that one instead now. She has already parked up on a curb and I had to fix the bottom splash guard. Plus, from what the kids tell me she went over some really really uneven paved railroad tracks and really made the car go crazy from what they say. So, I was pissed. Im needing to find her another car fast. I keep trying to tell her my car is lowered and its not like her 4x4 like Bonneville.

im gonna cringe @ the day he finally gets his 300zx up and going and wont have time for my ride D:!

Everybody in the family drives the I30. It is now our long distance car taking the most mileage from other cars. We have a '91 Volvo that takes the beating at shopping centers and schools where it gets a lot of body damage.

My dad put 135k on my max, then bought himself a Mazda6 and gave me the max.

My mom drives it very occasionally when her car is in the shop, but she's not very good with the manual. I also let one of my friends drive it in a parking lot for a few minutes, because he's let me drive his 20 AE slushbox max.

Then I let another of my friends drive it for about 3 seconds. Big ****ing mistake. He dropped the clutch at like 5k rpm and then tried to shift into second without touching the clutch. I put it in neutral and pulled the e-brake and told him to get the **** out of my car right now. He's like "Dude, I just forgot, that's all" but he's a horrible driver and I only let him do it because he was practically begging. Luckily I think the Max has some sort of lock that prevents you from shifting without the clutch, because he never got it into second.

Other than that, mechanics and installers have driven it, but the only people to drive it for an extended amount of time have been my dad and I.

I've let two people take it for rides around the block. I'll probably never do it again as one of the girls I let drive T-Boned a truck a few months ago! AHHH

You need to add another category:

"Anyone who knows how to drive a stick!" (which there aren't many)

I have but rarely and only people I truly trust. When i bought the i30 I couldn't even drive a stick so my friend drove it from Dallas back to Austin. It's a short list of people I let behind the wheel though..Especially after having valet's drive my car a few times...

i dont have a girlfriend to let drive this car. my maxima IS my girlfriend...so technically, if i let my gf drive my car, i'll be letting my car drive Itself.. now how would that work out?? nah i'm jk... lol

i havent had the car long so i havent much time to let someone borrow it...but i would let my dad (cosigner) drive it.. not to mention he's the only other one in the family that knows how to drive a stick..

maximas are actually highly tuned automobiles from the factory. with sleek looks and handling characteristics that make even the best porsche carrera gt's quiver. they should not be lent out to anyone under any circumstance.
